Pieces WE Love

Today we are highlighting some of the pieces that are currently available at Alysa Rene that we are LOVING. Two pairs of Freebird boots that are absolutely gorgeous, rugged, and very versatile. This off-the-shoulder top by MinkPink that is truly insane. (We love the neck tie that holds it up!) And lastly, we are loving this gorgeous mix media white motorcycle jacket that is so flattering and can be worn with every outfit you have. You have to go in and check them out!

Currently Coveting: Fur (real or faux)

When adding an extra layer in the fall or the winter, many of us real for fur vests, scarves, hats, whatever we have that is cute an easy! The October "It" List

I want to draw your attention to the current It List at Alysa Rene's Boutique. Now, I know we have all been lusting after the Norma Kamali workout wear (shown here- it's amazing if you haven't bought a piece there might be a jacket or two left)...but this total knockout of a dress by Molly Bracken is such a statement piece and something that you're going to regret not buying when they are gone! The gorgeous leather chevron pattern is fantastic and the length is too good.

Now the black jacket in the middle is not just your basic great coverup. It is so much more. With the leather patches on the sleeves, the gorgeous draping shape combined with a great asymmetrical zipper and topped off with the feel of your favorite live- in cardigan (read: view that collar), this jacket is simply a must-have.

Down below we have a pair of Bed Stu heels. Not only do they have a certain Victorian charm, but they also look absolutely amazing with dresses, jeans, and everything in between. They have a distressed look and offer a great juxtaposition to an ultra girly dress.

If you haven't bought a piece of Julie Zancanelli jewelry, what are you waiting for? Her jewels rock! I love the purple geode slice, but she has great chokers, arrowheads, and leather jewelry that is just incredible. (Carried exclusively at Alysa Rene Boutique).

Lastly, we have another piece that is a total must-have from Molly Bracken. This jacket is literally everything you've ever wanted. From a utilitarian point-of-view, this jacket will keep you warm at the November Chiefs game. From a fashion standpoint this is a slim fit, body flattering jacket with black, luxurious fur lining, an asymmetrical zipper, and a straight finish cut. It comes in a rich dark grey color and has a gorgeous classic collar. This is a piece that you will live in half the year! You have to have it.

Fall Starter Kit

Each of these pieces are staples of the perfect Fall wardrobe. I like to call these 6 piece the "Fall Starter Kit". 

1. The white lace-up top is the right amount sexy, trendy, and easy to throw on with any bottom in your closet. 

2. The sweater jacket in a light grey is another easy piece to throw on top of any outfit to add an extra layer for warmth or to tie an outfit together. 

3. This little black dress by Hazel has a gorgeous braided detail down the front that elongates the body and is made in a soft suede. Totally comfortable.  Totally classic. 

4. The black suede over-the-knee boots will be your go-to boots each fall and winter. They are great with dresses with or without tights (depending on the weather) and they are great over skinny jeans and leggings. These are the ultimate over-the-knee boots. They are an outfit maker and very versatile. Worth every penny. 

5. The short block heeled shoes by Free People are a crowd favorite. Not only do they go with every outfit, but you can also stand in these all day long without needing to ice your feet afterwards. Another versatile classic that have grab-and-go appeal. 

6. Lastly Flying Monkey denim is everything! You will love these black jeans. They elevate outfits the way a blue denim cannot, but are just as casual and laid-back.

Event: Julie Zancanelli Trunk Show

Camouflage Made Sexy

Okay you guys, Alysa Rene Boutique has some of the sexiest camo you will see this season. Between the activewear from Norma Kamali (left and right), and the relaxed feminine true camo jacket from Free People (center), you have got to grab a piece (or two) for your closet for fall and winter.

How hot is this modern take on camo that Kamali incorporated into this activewear? No need to change after the gym because this look is perfect!

The true camo look of the Free People jacket looks classic and pulls together every look in this weather, plus it's ideal for add that extra layer in a very carefree, model-off-duty kind of way.

Boho Chic

This season is all about the bohemian chic/haute hippie look, and we are loving it at Alysa Rene. The middle dress by Rachel Pally is so great for fall because it just looks like beautiful foliage and the changing of the leaves. The two tops are by Free People which is notorious for making gorgeous boho chic clothing, and these pieces are not exception. You can throw either of these on with jeans, leggings, or a fun suede skirt and you are ready for anything from KC Fashion Week to dinner and a movie. (Added bonus: Bell Sleeves--so flattering for every size)!

Versatility: The Camo Jacket

Versatility is a word that is throw around a lot. There are a lot of pieces in our wardrobe that are versatile: these are typically known as classics. Well, behold, the Camo Jacket by Free People. Versatile. Classic. Must-Have.

When you look at the various items that it can be paired with there are obvious choices like a swing black dress or a lace up white blouse, and the not so obvious choices like a beaded dress or a patterned top...but all of these options look just as good as the next one. The camo jacket over the beaded dress will be different, edgy even, but it will work if you have the confidence to pull it off (love it with our light pink beaded dress--for a option that is less bold). If you're not as daring, try the camo jacket with the patterned top and some jeans or this gorgeous merlot top--because Army Green and Merlot are meant for one another! Have fun pairing--the possibilities are endless.

CSI

Around this time of year, we let the cold, crisp air of fall and winter dictate our outfits in a "blah" way. We stick to greys, blacks, and other dark colors, and shy away from brights and the more traditionally known as "Spring or Summer colors". This is not the case at Alysa Rene. This fall and winter we are shaking things up! We are bringing you bright colors, fun patterns, and something to put a pep in your step when your friends are warding off the cold weather in basic black! We are adding a whole new meaning to CSI. CSI = Collect Some Interest. You will pique the interest of everyone around you in these fun colors and patterns.
