One of the trends we are seeing everywhere this fall is strings (faux drawstrings) on tops. We are loving that it adds a little detail and give a little bit of a laid-back vibe to each blouse. Although it doesn't quite feel like fall, we are supposed to have a pretty cold fall/winter here in Kansas City! The Bead Squad

There are a million cute new piece for fall at Alysa Rene, but what has caught our eye this week are these beaded and/or sequined dresses. The Molly Bracken dress on the right is as cute for day with a jean jacket over the top as it is for night with these absolutely amazing (everyday) Free People short block-heeled sandals. The Line +  Dot sequined dress on the left is going to be absolutely divine when the holiday party invitations start rolling in and you begin to scramble around for something to wear. And the WYLDR dress in the middle--another versatile look that can be dressed down with a jean jacket and booties, or dressed up for evening with a shawl or a leather jacket for a edgier look. All of these dresses are absolutely gorgeous, and these Free People shoes will be worn on repeat all fall long with everything from dresses to jeans.

Lust List: Animal-Inspired Pieces

At Alysa Rene Boutique, we have a sudden influx of animal-inspired pieces. We are in love with it! 

On the top row we have some western-inspired cowboy booties from Australia Luxe Collection that have an embossed snakeskin as a back detail ($325). Next we have a fabulous necklace by Julie Zancanelli that has what looks like a gold faux stag skull as the focal point of this great piece ($78). It's Football Season: University of Texas

As we wrap up our "Football Season" series, here are a couple of outfit inspirations for Texas (UT) football games!

It's Football Season: OU/Nebraska

It's Football Season: IOWA/MU Gameday Apparel

Today we are bringing you outfit inspiration for ladies attending the University of Iowa (Hawkeyes) or the University of Missouri (Tigers).
